Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (Minimum 2.5 days per week)
Caseload: PreK-8th Grade

Job Description: We are currently hiring a School Psychologist to work near Lyons, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year. This role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time work, with a minimum of 2.5 days per week for part-time candidates. The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological services, including evaluations, counseling, and consultation, to PreK-8 students. Candidates must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students in PreK-8th grade.
  • Provide counseling and behavior support services to students with emotional and social needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
  • Develop, monitor, and participate in the implementation of IEPs.
  • Attend IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology required in Illinois
  • Experience working with PreK-8 students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a flexible role (full-time or part-time)
