Aschool district near Orland Park, IL, is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract position provides guaranteed hours, comprehensive benefitsand flexibility
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Illinois PEL
- Floating American Sign Language (ASL)interpreter for Pre-K through 12th grade students across four school sites
- Interpret in general education and special education classrooms and assist in students' social interactions
- Collaborate with school staff to keep up to date with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Full-time position (35 guaranteed hours) that lasts until June 4, 2025 with the possibility of renewal
