Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a VP/Director of Finance to join our team in the hospitality industry, based in Orlando, Florida. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, monitoring performance indicators, and providing accurate financial recommendations. This role will involve working closely with various business units to maintain and develop financial planning and analysis models.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Monitor performance indicators and analyze causes of unexpected variances.
• Develop and maintain financial planning and analysis models in collaboration with various business units.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting projections to the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Adapt and customize reporting modules to yield Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement and analytical insights.
• Create and maintain relevant dashboards or reporting tools to help functional leaders make data-driven decisions.
• Liaise with the Vice President of Finance on shareholder, board and external presentations to present financial information accurately.
• Supervise financial analysts, assign projects and priorities, provide coaching and evaluate performance.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required, which may include pro-forma acquisition and new development models and market research.
• Work closely with the business in changes in practices that would result in long-range financial impact.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hotel industry

• Extensive knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Proficiency in KPI Reporting

• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Ability to accurately perform Revenue Forecast

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Sound understanding of financial regulations and legislation

• Proficiency in financial software and databases

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field

• Professional certification in Accounting or Finance (e.g. CPA, CFA) is a plus.
