Are you a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a skilled RN or LPN to provide specialized care for a student with a tracheostomy (trach). This full-time position involves comprehensive care both on the bus and during the school day.

Position: School Nurse (RN or LPN)
Location: Medway, MA Area
Employment Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Likely 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one nursing care for a student with a tracheostomy, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
  • Accompany the student on the bus to and from school, providing necessary medical support during transportation.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to create and implement individualized health care plans.
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required.
  • Monitor and respond to the students health needs, including trach care and emergency situations.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience with tracheostomy care and related medical procedures preferred.
