Remote Special Education Teacher Position in Virginia

Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher eager to make a difference from the comfort of your home? This role allows you to work with outstanding schools across Virginia, with the potential for continued work in the following year.

Role Overview:

  • Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hour, depending on experience
  • Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Hours: Reliable and consistent
  • Support: Access to a dedicated clinical team for guidance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs in a virtual environment.
  • Deliver live and pre-recorded lessons customized to each student's learning style and requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in special education and online teaching.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Valid licensure in Virginia or your current state of residence (if applicable).
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
  • Proficiency with online teaching tools and digital learning platforms.
