Job Description:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in Whitmore Lake, MI for the 2024/2025 school year. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, allowing the candidate to set their own hours as long as they adhere to the selected days. The role involves working as the primary evaluator for the district, supporting students aged 3-19.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cognitive assessments, observations, and parent interviews.
  • Review student records and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to determine special education eligibility.
  • Complete eligibility paperwork for special education evaluations.
  • Attend IEP meetings to discuss evaluation findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in staff meetings twice a month (participation appreciated but not required).
Requirements:
  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting cognitive assessments and special education evaluations.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams and parents.
  • Commitment to adhering to ethical and professional standards in all assessments and evaluations.
