Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Grants Manager. This role is based in the Freehold, New Jersey area. As a Grants Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire grant process, from researching and writing grant proposals to managing budgets and ensuring compliance.


Responsibilities:

• Research and identify new grant opportunities relevant to our organization's mission

• Develop and write compelling grant proposals and applications

• Manage the process of preparing budgets and compiling grant application packages

• Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and guidelines

• Oversee and manage special projects as assigned

• Facilitate cross-functional communication within the organization

• Maintain working knowledge of the local (Central New Jersey) funding community and stay updated on new funding opportunities

• Keep abreast of state, federal, and local funding environment

• Use Google Workplace tools for efficient and effective communication and project management

• Manage budget effectively and efficiently.

• Bachelor's degree in related field, such as social work, public administration, or non-profit management

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the social care/services sector

• Experience in preparing budgets for various projects

• Proficiency in the management of private grants

• Proven track record in managing special projects within the social care/services industry

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams

• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for budgeting and tracking purposes

• Ability to interpret and adhere to complex funding guidelines and regulations

• Strong analytical skills for evaluating grant opportunities and assessing project outcomes.
