Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Upfit Installer/Plow Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in MIG welding, electrical and mechanical work, hydraulics, pneumatics, and experience with CAD/blueprints. The role involves taking in trucks from dealers or counties and adding kits such as weather guard mats, toolboxes, lights, and lifts.

 

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (some flexibility)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install kits on trucks, including weather guard mats, tool boxes, lights, lifts, etc.
  • Perform MIG welding as needed.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical work to ensure proper installation.
  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints.
  • Use hand and power tools, including sockets, wrenches, pliers, impacts, etc.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Must pass a background check and 5-panel drug test.
  • Experience in MIG welding, electrical and mechanical work, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CAD/blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Must have own tools or be willing to participate in the tool program ($30 a month for 3 years).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to train candidates with mechanical or heavy-duty truck experience. Candidates with light-duty truck experience may also be considered but at a lower pay rate.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
