Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical standards and the ability to work independently to ensure high-quality and error-free products.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC.
  • Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.
  • Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
  • Check work to ensure error-free products.
  • Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and turn in to the supervisor on completion of the project.
  • Maintain a neat, efficient, and safe workplace.
  • Provide all tools necessary to perform the job function.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to layout and mount components.
  • Ability to wire assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists.
  • Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in panel building, control panels, and panel wiring.
  • Familiarity with electrical wiring, blueprints, machine building, and electrical assembly.
  • Skills in mounting components, drilling, and tapping.
  • Occasionally assist in employee development and continuous improvement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sussex, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
