We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Lacey, WA, for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Job Description
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with students to improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities that are essential for their academic success and overall development. Youll be part of a collaborative team, creating tailored therapy plans and interventions to support each students unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on achieving educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Work with teachers, families, and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and daily routines.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Washington state Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
