Interventional Radiology Nurse: Norwich, CT.

Seeking an energetic Interventional Radiology RN to come join our team today. We have exciting, Great Paying opportunities across the U.S. Both Local and Travel candidates are welcome to apply. Contract position to start ASAP -13 weeks with option to extend. Shift: 8 hour dayshift. Rotating evening and weekend on call.

Provides nursing care by assessing the patient pre-and-post- procedure and assisting the Radiologist in the various diagnostic radiology testing • Examples are: Interventional angiography, US guided thorocentesis / paracentesis, CT guided biopsies and any pt care needs that come up in the Medical Imaging Department. • Administer conscious sedation and other prescribed medication or pharmacological agents during and post Radiology testing. • Provides educational resources for patients

Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program

1-2 years experience in Interventional Radiology Lab

Interventional Radiology procedures: Vascular cases, Ultrasound and CT scan Guided procedures; moderate sedation administration and monitoring

EPIC experience preferred

Critical Care experience a plus

Connecticut RN license or eligible

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

Proof of right to work in the United States

English
