Logistics Associate I

Job Summary:The Logistics Associate I is responsible for accurately picking, packing, staging, scaling, and loading customer orders for both internal and external movement. This role includes maintaining supplies, ensuring a clean work environment, and actively participating in training and audits to uphold company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, stage, scale, and load customer orders using an RF gun and prepare all pertinent documentation.
- Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of operating materials, informing the Coach when orders need to be placed.
- Keep assigned areas stocked and maintain supplies to ensure continuous operation.
- Perform clean-up and light maintenance duties to uphold high housekeeping standards, particularly in preparation for internal and external audits.
- Actively participate in all company training programs related to Work Instructions (WIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and safety programs, demonstrating knowledge on a daily basis.
- Participate in company and departmental meetings, including Performance Centers.
- Conduct daily cycle counts in assigned areas using an RF gun and assist in reconciling discrepancies with Inventory Control.
- Ability to learn and apply relevant WIs, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong reading comprehension skills to apply detailed information to various situations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with peers and management.
- Reliable transportation, as the position requires work at multiple warehousing sites.
- Proficiency in using computers for data entry, RF transactions, and information retrieval.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and rounding.
- High level of personal motivation and initiative, with the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work assignments in a continuously improving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and customer requirements.
- Experience operating warehouse material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and other machinery as required.
- Familiarity with MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel) and SAP or equivalent systems.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds with assistance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of GMP warehouse experience.
