Entry-Level Cable Technician

In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain OSP (Outside Plant) buried fiber drops, ensuring smooth and reliable connectivity for customers. What You’ll Do:
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing fiber optic wiring during service calls
-Locate and dig to access buried fiber cables
-Repair, replace, and splice fiber optic cables as needed
-Perform restoration work after any digging
-Provide excellent customer service, treating customers with respect and professionalism
-Review requested services with customers and ensure their needs are met
-Communicate work status with supervisors and dispatch teams
-Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
What We’re Looking For:
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Authorized to work in the United States
-Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience
-Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Capable of lifting/carrying 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
-Able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call for emergencies
-Comfortable working 3 feet above ground level
-Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
-Must pass a background check and drug screening
