We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, contributing to the efficient assembly of products on the assembly line. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Location: Lincoln, IL 62656

Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday

Pay: $17.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and parts according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
  • Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow on the assembly line.
  • Fabricate parts as needed to complete assemblies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist in the operation of forklifts for material handling when necessary.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to assembly processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven mechanical knowledge, with experience in a factory or manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential for this role.
  • Experience working on an assembly line is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks within the production environment.
