Teletherapy Position | Portsmouth, VA
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a qualified and passionate Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for a teletherapy contract with an excellent school district in Portsmouth, Virginia. Position Overview:- Job Type: Full-Time, Teletherapy
- Caseload: 1:1 support for an elementary or middle school student
- Start Date: ASAP for the 2024-2025 School Year
- Experience Requirements:
- Background in addressing language deprivation and language expansion
- Proven experience working with students with ADHD and social-emotional needs
- Certification Requirements:
- Option 1: Valid VQAS Level III
- Option 2: Passing score on the EIPA Written Test with a minimum Level 3.5
- Note: Interpreters with a VQAS Level II, EIPA Level 3.0, or equivalent will have two years from their hire date to achieve the required qualifications.
- Competitive Pay: Starting at $35+ per hour (W-2)
