Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee 5-8 Supply Chain projects with 7-12 direct reports
- Leadership: Provide daily direction, motivation and inspiration to the team to create a productive and positive work environment while providing feedback to help develop potential talent.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks to prevent issues from arising
- Time Management: Manage the time spent on project tasks and activities to help team members understand how much to do and by when
- Monitoring: Overseeing and report out on deliverables/milestones
- Planning and Organization: Plan and organize projects, set deadlines and milestones, and manage resources
- Managing resources: Planning, budgeting, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines
- Analyzing data: Using supplier data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities
- Implementing plans: Creating continuous improvement plans to enhance supply chain performance
- Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels—team members, senior management, and stakeholders—while addressing concerns and sharing project progress.
- Coach and mentorship: A team lead coaches team members, provides feedback, and helps them develop their talents and potential.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- 3+ years of experience with leading, mentoring, coaching and supervising
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience within SAP, Dossier and Tableau is a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Robust and refined organizational and time management skills to ensure project success across multiple customers and Statements of Work
- Strong business acumen, including managing financials, assessing risks, and being adaptable to project changes
- Ability to work well across multiple functions within the company, and in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making acumen
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs, if required
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
