Speech Telehealth Opportunity (CCC-SLP)

VocoVision is seeking a talented remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a respected school district in the Kyle, TX area for the full 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates should have prior experience in school settings. This position is available immediately, so apply now to be considered

Residency in Texas is not required; however, you must hold licenses in both your current state and Texas.

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, for the 2024-2025 school year
  • Compensation: $45-$47 per hour, paid weekly
  • Rate: Based on virtual experience
  • Scope: Encompasses both direct and indirect services
  • Employment Type: Independent contractor
  • Insurance: Professional liability insurance is necessary upon hire
  • Additional Information: Detailed scheduling and caseload information will be provided during a Zoom interview with the director or coordinator

Duties:

  • Perform remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
  • Focus mainly on supervision and indirect services.
  • Collaborate online with teachers and school staff to implement effective interventions.

Required Experience:

  • At least two years of experience in a school-based setting.

Required Certifications:

  • Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state clearances (including fingerprints, TB test if applicable, and background check)
