Job DescriptionJob Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including loading and unloading materials, aligning tools, and adjusting settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining operations and specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code, ensuring optimal machining processes and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure adherence to tolerances and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshooting any issues that arise during operation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and resolve production challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
  • Document production data and maintain records of work performed, including any adjustments made to machine settings.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Milling Machinist or similar role.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation, with experience in G-code and M-code.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
