Position Title: Application Programmer     

Location: Chicago, IL / Richmond, VA / Kennesaw, GA

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 months with potential to long term        

Job Type: [Contract >=40 HRS WEEKLY], [ON-SITE] 

Pay Range: [$60/hr] – [$68/hr]     

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). 

 

Requirements: 

·        Responsible for designing and developing code to deliver functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

·        Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability /ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.

·        Strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.

·        Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements, estimating work, defect triage, code deployment and production release activities.

·        Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria.

·        Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

 

Required Skills

·        Overall 8+ years of Technology in application development using Java/J2EE, Unix Shell Scripting, REST APIs, Angular

·        2+ years of hands-on experience in Angular, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform 4.x, Cloud Edition (PCE), Java 8+, Spring Boot

·        5+ years of experience working with RDBMS: Oracle 11g / SQL Server; Strong in DB SQL language

·        Should have hands on experience in Angular, Mule implementation including Design, Development and Implementation

·        Experience in writing mUnit Tests

·        Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible / Tower)

·        Experience working in Agile development process and tools like Jira.

·        Analytical and Problem solving skills

·        Self-motivated to learn on the job and demonstrate important skills like Communication, Teamwork, Accountability & Ownership

·        Ability to work with global teams

·        Ability and willingness to learn on the job
