Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

We are currently hiring for two SLP positions in our school setting The first SLP position is needed as soon as possible, and the second one will begin during the 23-24 school year.
Position 1: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SLP to join our team who can work with students in various programs including Speech only, RSP with Speech, SDC K-2 mod/severe, and SDC 3-6 mod/severe. Our current caseload is at 47 students, and the SLP will be supported by one SLPA.
Position 2: For our second opening, we are looking for an experienced speech-language pathologist who is passionate about working with young children. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing services to students in Speech only, RSP with Speech, SDC PreK, SDC K-1, and SDC 2-3. The caseload includes up to 62 students and will be supported by 1.5 SLPA members.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a valid California state license to practice as an SLP in education or hold their CCC-SLP/ASLD Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Appropriate credentials to work within school settings are also required. Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and treatment services to assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for additional educational support if necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to fulfill the goals of the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP)
- Utilize evidence-based best practices to help students maximize their communication potential
- Complete appropriate documentation to track progress and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
