Wednesday through Sunday

Shift: 11:00 PM- 7:00 AM, Evening

Starting Hourly Pay: $19.00

Full-Time

Work Performed: 

The Maintenance Technician will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: 

  • Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., "room care");  

  • Complete work orders from guests and hotel associates and record in log;   

  • Assist in checking electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, television sets, and lighting systems, and make minor repairs and/or replacements;   

  • Make routine repairs on all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, hand and power tools, and general plumbing systems such as pipelines, toilets, and sinks;  

  • Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters; 

  • Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors windows, and counters, including painting and finishing furniture and fixtures if needed;  

  • Operate power equipment, hand tools, and vehicles associated with ground maintenance and landscaping activities in all seasons; 

  • Maintain grounds equipment and tools in proper working order. Perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment and tools as required;  

  • Remove trash daily from sidewalks, grounds, landscaping, and parking lots;  

  • Provide friendly, prompt service for hotel guests and associates following Atrium's Core Values; 

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and  

  • Any and all other work is required to complete the position's primary purpose. 

Qualifications: 

  • Six (6) months of maintenance experience  
  • Hotel maintenance experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent  
  • HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing Certification preferred 
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally 
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25lbs regularly 
  • Able to bend and squat repeatedly 
  • Able to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift  
  • Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

Trabajo realizado:  El Técnico de Mantenimiento tendrá las siguientes funciones, responsabilidades y asignaciones: 

Realizar tareas de mantenimiento preventivo de forma programada (por ejemplo, "cuidado de la habitación");  

Completar órdenes de trabajo de huéspedes y asociados del hotel y registrarlas en el registro;   

Ayudar a verificar sistemas eléctricos como controles de aire acondicionado, televisores, sistemas de iluminación y realizar reparaciones y/o reemplazos menores;   

Realizar reparaciones de rutina en todos los equipos del hotel, incluidos pequeños electrodomésticos, equipos de cocina, equipos de lavandería, calderas, equipos de piscina, HVAC, herramientas manuales y eléctricas y sistemas de plomería en general, como tuberías, inodoros y lavabos;  

Dar servicio a la piscina del hotel, incluido el ajuste de productos químicos y la limpieza de filtros; 

Restaurar muebles y accesorios dentro de las habitaciones, como gabinetes, mesas, sillas, puertas, ventanas y mostradores, incluida la pintura y el acabado de muebles y accesorios si es necesario;  

Operar equipos eléctricos, herramientas manuales y vehículos asociados con actividades de mantenimiento del terreno y paisajismo en todas las estaciones; 

Mantener el equipo y las herramientas del terreno en buen estado de funcionamiento. Realizar mantenimiento y reparaciones menores en equipos y herramientas según sea necesario;  

Retire la basura diariamente de las aceras, terrenos, jardines y estacionamientos;  

Proporcionar un servicio amable y rápido a los huéspedes y asociados del hotel de acuerdo con los valores fundamentales de Atrium; 

Seguir todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa, incluida la notificación de accidentes, lesiones y condiciones de trabajo inseguras a la gerencia;

Capaz de levantar un mínimo de 50 libras ocasionalmente 

Capaz de levantar un mínimo de 25 libras con regularidad. 

Capaz de doblarse y ponerse en cuclillas repetidamente 

Capaz de caminar y estar de pie durante el turno programado.  

Flexible para trabajar en turnos diurnos, temprano en la mañana, tarde, noche, fines de semana y feriados.
