Special Education TeacherJob Description:

  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to create personalized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.

  • Implement Instructional Strategies: Utilize evidence-based instructional methods and adaptive technology to accommodate diverse learning styles and support student progress.

  • Provide Direct Instruction: Deliver specialized instruction in various subjects, focusing on building foundational skills, fostering independence, and promoting academic growth.

  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Keep detailed records of student performance and achievements.

  • Behavior Management: Implement positive behavior intervention strategies and create a supportive classroom environment that encourages social-emotional development and self-regulation.

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
