We are offering an opportunity for a Bilingual (English and Spanish) Inventory Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry, situated in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This role is crucial in managing our inventory processes, overseeing assembly of products, and ensuring quality standards are met, among other tasks. This contract to hire employment opportunity demands a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the assembly of products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer specifications

• Assist in training new employees in the assembly process for new products

• Delegate work assignments to assembly personnel, optimising individual skill sets

• Ensure adequate levels of materials for assembly are available

• Utilize barcode scanning for materials in and out of the assembly department

• Work within the ERP system to process work orders, create labels, and scan materials

• Perform line clearance at the conclusion of a job to ensure materials are properly accounted for, labeled, and returned to inventory

• Assist in creating work instructions as directed, and aid in the storage and collection of work instructions, quality plans, and other paperwork

• Adhere to and enforce all safety and work rules and regulations

• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards

• Answer inbound calls and handle email communications as part of clerical duties.

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls in a timely and professional manner
• Proven track record in performing clerical duties such as filing, typing, and managing mail
• Experience in conducting annual physical inventory and auditing
• Strong ability to handle email communications and maintain mailing lists
• Good understanding of inventory management systems and procedures
• High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required, relevant certifications would be an added advantage.
