Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for performing all work safely and in accordance with Standard Work and drawing specifications. Your responsibilities include inspecting production to ensure product output meets quality requirements, using properly calibrated precision measuring instruments, and performing all machine set-ups. You'll also be providing assistance to other employees, informing the Supervisor of any operating conditions that would interfere with quality production, performing operational checks, updating production status boards, and training new hires on standard work and inhouse procedures. This role involves physical activities such as lifting/moving up to 50lbs, standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.

Hard Skills
  • Experience with Haas Fanuc Machines
  • Ability to revise or create CNC Program from 3D model, drawings using MasterCam (or above) and Fusion 360
  • Experience using properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools
  • Ability to perform all machine set-ups without assistance
  • Knowledge in equipment operation, maintenance, and cutters/tooling procurement
  • Experience in the development of programming procedures and manufacturing practices
  • Ability to modify CNC programs based on data from quality and other sources
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work in a production setting
