RPh on the Go is actively recruiting a highly skilled Inpatient Pharmacist for an exciting 8-week contract assignment in New York, NY. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting while providing critical pharmacy services to inpatient populations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to hospitalized patients, including the preparation and dispensation of medications.
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety.
- Counsel patients on their medication regimens, addressing any potential drug interactions or side effects.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient treatment plans and ensure the best outcomes.
- Monitor and adjust therapy as necessary based on patient response.
- Participate in pharmacy rounds and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulations regarding medication management and safety.
Shift:
- Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Rotating weekends
- 12/2 start date
Qualifications:
- NY Pharmacist license
- Must have hands-on IV making experience
- 1+ year of inpatient
- Must have experience with EPIC software
