Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment used in the fabrication process.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to comply with industry standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure timely and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Assist in training team members on safe forklift operation and maintenance practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a related role, preferably within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engine mechanics.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
