Position: Packaging Maintenance Technician
Location: Plymouth, Minnesota

Job Type: Direct Hire/ Full-Time
Shift Flexibility: 1st Shift - Flexible Start Times (Choose from 7:30am-4pm, 8am-4:30pm, or 8:30am-5pm)

Hourly Rate: $27 - $32/Hr. (Plus overtime if desired)

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Prior experience repairing packaging equipment is required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of machine maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication skills.
What You’ll Do:

  • Machines You'll Work On: Experience with Ilemann sleeving machines, Gima CD/DVD packaging machines, Scandia, Doboy, Shanklin, and Sealed Air overwrappers, and Shanklin heat tunnels.
  • Ensure Smooth Operation: Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance and calibration following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot Malfunctions: Identify issues by observing equipment, consulting with operators, and using test equipment. Adjust or replace defective parts like motors, pumps, and circuit boards with hand and power tools.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors to procure replacement parts and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Documentation: Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
  • Maintenance: Clean machinery as needed and ensure a safe, clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
