Job Description

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for safely conducting analysis and reporting of various products, such as Oil Condition Monitoring. This includes testing operations on in-service lubricants, coolants, fuels, and grease.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory analysis with hands-on bench work.
• Complete all laboratory reports as applicable.
• Understand and keep current with all laboratory analysis methods.
• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Understand and keep current with all laboratory safety and reporting techniques.
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Chemistry.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to conduct laboratory analysis and prepare reports.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and reporting techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a science discipline (Preferred).
• 1-year experience working as a Laboratory Technician (Preferred).

Work Environment

This role will be onsite in Vallejo, requiring the testing of fuel and oil. Candidates must be comfortable working in this environment and wearing PPE. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
