Robert Half has an opening for a HR Generalist with out client located in Arabi, Louisiana. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in executing a variety of human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance and recordkeeping, policy development and implementation, HR systems and data management, organizational culture and engagement, and health and safety. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

• Facilitate end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to candidate selection

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, mediating disputes and providing guidance on policies and procedures

• Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and provide coaching for employee growth

• Administer employee benefits programs and conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation practices

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and legal requirements

• Utilize HR information systems for tracking employee data and generating reports

• Analyze HR metrics to provide insights for strategic decision-making

• Promote company culture and employee engagement initiatives, organizing employee events and recognition programs

• Ensure workplace health and safety standards are met and effectively communicate safety procedures to employees


• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce software

• Ability to handle Benefit Functions efficiently

• Strong Communication skills

• Knowledge in Compliance and regulations

• Proven track record in Employee Relations

• Understanding of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

• Proven experience in HR role

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to effectively work with a team and independently

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong decision-making skills

• Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
