Robert Half is partnered with a well-established Prairieville, Louisiana construction company in search of a Human Resources Manager. We are seeking an experienced and motivate professional to join the team and ensure that all human resources operations run smoothly.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's business goals.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Manage the performance and appraisal process.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field, PHR or HR certifications preferred.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing or similar industrial service industry.
  • Exposure to Davis Bacon compliance a huge plus.
