Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and dedicated School Psychologist for an onsite position in the Dracut, MA area. This is a full-time, contract role for the 2024-2025 school year, offering petitive pay and a prehensive benefits package. As a School Psychologist with Soliant, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with students, staff, and families to support students mental health, academic achievement, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to support students' social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement effective intervention plans for students.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support for students experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and remend additional support services.
  • Offer consultation and training to school staff on psychological best practices and strategies for supporting student success.
  • Ensure pliance with all state and federal regulations concerning special education and student assessments.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid licensure as a School Psychologist from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong munication, interpersonal, and assessment skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized plans that support students' academic and emotional growth.
  • Passion for working with students and making a difference in their educational experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
