Job Description
This position requires a high level of detail. You will start by receiving a cup of finished parts, then sit in a chair and work under a microscope in a very clean environment to remove excess silicone from tiny parts. The operator will handle very small, delicate pieces, requiring a keen eye for detail and steady hands. Primary duties include removing excess silicone (flash) using brushes, tweezers, or scraping tools, possibly under a microscope. You may also use a clicker press to trim flash, inspect parts, work with a team to assemble the workstation, and fill out job sheets with part numbers, lot numbers, and quantities. Basic math skills for adding and subtracting are necessary.

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Saginaw, Michigan.
Work EnvironmentThese positions train on 1st shift for 3 months, M-F 5am to 3:15pm. After training, the shift moves to 2nd shift, M-F 3pm to 1:15am. The work involves sitting at a desk in a clean room, using tweezers and microscopes. The company is a small-scale manufacturing business in Freeland, Michigan, with under 50 employees. It has been family-owned for years, with most employees having been with the company for well over 15 years. The company produces small silicone components for the medical industry and maintains an incredibly clean environment due to medical regulations. The facility has recently expanded, with plans for further growth. The company boasts extremely low to zero turnover due to high compensation and stability.
