Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant due to a maternity leave. You will work primarily in Adult Medicine. As a Medical Assistant, you will complete the patient intake process, assist clinicians with daily care, perform various medical tasks such as taking vital signs, and document information in the medical record. Additionally, you will support clinicians with administrative tasks, including faxing and phoning in prescriptions, calling for reports and records, and collecting and relaying lab information. Your supervision will come from clinicians, RNs, and the clinical nursing manager.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Work Environment

You will work in a Pediatric Specialty setting located at 200 Hospital Dr #300, Annapolis, MD. Free parking is available on-site. The shift is Monday – Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with one evening shift from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.
