General Manager Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years as a restaurant general manager for a high volume, fine dining or upscale casual restaurant concept.
  • High-volume management experience 6MM+
  • Strong financial acumen; P&L, food, beverage, labor cost
  • Exceptional leadership skills; fosters a healthy team culture; eager to mentor and train the team to advance to the next level
  • Adept at handling fluctuations in seasonal restaurant activities and staffing needs
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, beverage, health and sanitation requirements
  • A strong, entrepreneurial operator with proven results in sales, marketing and leadership
  • Some experience with new restaurant openings
  • Passion for fresh, fine food and beverage; beverage/wine knowledge is a plus
  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server/Seller permits.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Schedule Flexibility with the ability to work nights and weekends
