Payroll Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a construction company in West Phoenix. This company is in search of a payroll coordinator to join their team. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Process certified payroll
- Maintain payroll records, including timecards, deductions, and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR to update employee data, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
- Assist with payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and reporting.
- Stay current with payroll regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Paycom experience preferred
- Prior certified payroll experience is a huge plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
