LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a construction company in West Phoenix. This company is in search of a payroll coordinator to join their team. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of payroll. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Process certified payroll
  • Maintain payroll records, including timecards, deductions, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR to update employee data, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
  • Assist with payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and reporting.
  • Stay current with payroll regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Paycom experience preferred
  • Prior certified payroll experience is a huge plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
