Job Title:

Mechanical assembler

Pay: 

20-21/hr

Description:

The candidate will be brazing (oxyacetylene torch) copper-to-copper piping day in and day out. Every unit is custom - they will have to cut the piping to length and braze it together according to each customer's needs. Will be working off of blueprints as needed. Will also help assemble the houses that these racks sit in. Will be doing a lot of moving throughout the day - bending, kneeling, twisting, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

• They are looking for mechanically inclined individuals:

• 3+ months of mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction (something that shows mechanical aptitude)

• Must be able to use a tape measure (They will be required to cut the proper sized pipes and insulation to the correct length)

Shift:

• 5 am-330pm - M-TH

Work Environment:

• Large manufacturing building and they build the units in teams of 3 -4 people.

• Well-lit environment. They keep it clean, but people will get dirty just due to the nature of the work.

• Hours: 5:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Thursday

• No A/C - but they do have fans and try to keep the airflow going.

• steel shoes and long pants are required every day.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
