Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Telecommunications Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning cell tower sites, ensuring they are fully operational and meet all technical specifications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning Cell Tower Sites: Perform all tasks related to the commissioning of cell tower sites, including equipment installation, configuration, and testing.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cell tower equipment and systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including site reports, equipment logs, and test results.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
  • Travel: Travel to various cell tower sites as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in telecommunications or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications fieldwork, specifically in cell tower commissioning.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using telecommunications testing equipment and software; strong understanding of RF principles and network infrastructure.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSHA, NATE) are a plus.
