Job Summary: TheSchool Psychologist provides psychological services to students within a school setting. They play a key role in promoting mental health, supporting academic achievement, and fostering positive behaviors.
Location:North Chicago, IL
Start/End:August 12, 2024 - June 2, 2025
Hours:Part time, 20+ hours a week, Onsite
Caseload:Early Childhood kiddos
Requirements:Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement,Masters in School Psychology from an accredited college/university.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience in providing psychological services in an educational setting.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital tools for remote service delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
Work Environment:
- Onsite model involving both on-site presence at the school and remote work capabilities.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate both in-person and virtual service needs.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to adapt to different working environments and technology platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
