The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, extensive experience in financial reporting, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements, ensuring all transactions are accurate and accounted for in the general ledger.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and analysis to support management in making informed business decisions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Consolidate financial statements for all entities, providing a comprehensive overview of the organization's financial position.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries for various transactions, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accounts are up to date.
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
- Review and update accounting procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with evolving regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience in industry or public accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, reconciliations, and auditing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred.
