SecOps Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in the market for a SecOps Engineer to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in BENSALEM, Pennsylvania. The role involves designing and implementing secure network solutions, managing intrusion detection systems, and ensuring data privacy. As a SecOps Engineer, you will also conduct vulnerability assessments and devise response strategies while collaborating with different teams to provide guidance on security best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement secure network solutions, including FW, NGFW, Web Content Filtering
• Administer and supervise intrusion detection and prevention systems, reacting to any suspicious activities
• Establish and manage network-based DLP solutions and devise policies aimed at ensuring data privacy
• Carry out regular vulnerability assessments using tools like Nessus and work on remediation
• Implement zero-day threat protection and devise response strategies
• Supervise endpoint protection technologies to guard against malware
• Adopt identity and access management solutions like Okta and RSA
• Plan, implement, and manage SIEM solutions for centralized security monitoring, advanced threat detection, and comprehensive incident response
• Keep up-to-date security architecture documentation and produce regular security posture reports
• Work closely with IT and compliance teams, offering guidance on security best practices using a variety of network perimeter security technologies.• In-depth knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is essential.
• Proficiency in working with Checkpoint is a must.
• Experience with Cisco ASA is required.
• Ability to effectively manage and operate Cisco ASA Firewall is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Routers is expected.
• Strong understanding of Authentication protocols and techniques.
• Familiarity with Check Point security solutions is important.
• Proficiency in managing Checkpoint Firewall is needed.
• Basic understanding of Computer Hardware is required.
• Experience in Configuration Management is essential.
