Soliant has partnered with a great school district near Walnut Creek, NC. We are looking to bring in an exceptional Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services for the uping school year. The ideal candidate will work with students in a school based setting, full time. If you are motivated to change lives, have a track record of providing effective therapy services and work well with the pediatric population, be sure to apply today

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • Active North Carolina, state OT licensure
  • Experience in school based settings (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Treat students physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities and/or changes in physical function
  • pletes initial and ongoing prehensive assessments for each student within caseload
  • Provides interventions and therapeutic treatments that align with the IEP; keeping IEP up to date with student progress and plan of actions
  • Educate student, family members, and other care givers about the individualized treatment plan created for the student and how it applies in each environment
  • Must work well in an interdisciplinary environment, municate professionally, maintain a good working relationship with the administrative team, and interdisciplinary therapist
  • Demonstrate flexibility to ensure student needs are being met
  • Ensure documentation is pleted in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. Documentation is to be done in accordance with state guidelines and pany policy
