Description:

Technician needs to have previous experience doing home security installation or troubleshooting of the systems. The desired candidate will have previous experience with installing and servicing security monitoring systems in commercial settings. Some of these responsibilities include CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads. Desired candidate should have experience programming security systems such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.

 

External Communities Job Description:

Training: This technician will train for 2-3 weeks on \"ride along\" with Current full time technicians. Technicians are paid no more than $16/hr while training.

This candidate must be comfortable driving there own vehicle as they will not be provided a service vehicle. This technician can expect at least 40 hours per week working Tuesday-Saturday.

This role requires technicians to install burglar alarms in residential homes. Ideal candidates will have experience with DSC or Honeywell panels. Working with our client will give someone the opportunity to work for the largest security companies in North America and have the ability for a long term career with them. This position will be aligned specifically to a geographic territory.

 

Work Environment:

Field environment. Technicians are responsible to start the day at either at their office or at the job in order to make it to their first job by 8:00 AM. From there they will be out in the field at residences. Dress code is khakis style work pants and a blue polo.

This person needs to have a mechanical aptitude and an adaptive personality. Technician must maintain 98% and better with inventory. Inventory is collecting once a week from the office and the technician is responsible for the inventory for the entire week. Inventory checks are quarterly. Technician can be dispatched from home or office based on GANT system.

There is an opportunity to be hired perm if the resource performs well and the business continues to grow. This position will also give resources the opportunity to build a strong background in installation and service as they will be doing both. They will also be working a variety of card access, CCTV, and fire; so it will give them the opportunity to improve their skills in each.

 

Additional Information:
- Rate is all inclusive for gas reimbursement.

- Residential Install Work: mileage up to $100 a week.
- Must have their own vehicle that can fit a 10 ft ladder and inventory.
- This is a residential Install Technician in their Fort Myers office. Contractor technicians will be sent to jobs in a clustered area and as close to home as possible.

- Support to have FASA BASA Certification and NICET certifications.
