Position Overview:
As a CVOR Tech, you will play a critical role in cardiovascular surgeries, supporting the surgical team by preparing equipment, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting during procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a cutting-edge facility with a collaborative and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room and ensure all cardiovascular-specific equipment is sterilized and ready.
  • Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols.
  • Monitor and ensure the functionality of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of procedures and equipment usage.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification or equivalent.
  • Specialized experience in cardiovascular operating rooms preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a CVOR Tech.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent munication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
