Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for kitting components for assembly work orders, assisting in the movement of material from production to stockroom, and performing inventory validation and cycle counting. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Kitting components for assembly work orders
  • Assist in the movement of material from production to stockroom as required
  • Perform inventory validation and cycle counting
  • Unpack and conduct incoming inspection of parts
  • Verify quantities and product match with supplier packing slips and ERP system
  • Stock parts on shelves using FIFO and fill back order requirements in production
  • Data entry of inventory movements in ERP system
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Essential Skills
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP, Business Central
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with mailroom operations, cycle counts, prepping shipments, and palletizing
  • Proficiency in data entry, inventory control, sorting, scanning, material handling, shipping and receiving
  • Experience with forklift operation, filing, inventory management, and RF scanner

Work Environment

The position is full-time, Monday through Thursday from 6am to 2:30pm, with every other Friday off. The work involves standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds consistently, and performing various tasks including inventory control, data entry, and material handling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, Kansas.
