Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Montgomery, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse patient population and will be mitted to providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to individuals of all ages. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent munication abilities, and a passion for helping clients achieve their munication goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct prehensive speech and language assessments to diagnose munication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs. Set measurable goals and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

  • Therapy Implementation: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients. Utilize a variety of techniques and materials to address munication challenges and improve functional outes.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outes. Ensure pliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

  • Family and Caregiver Support: Educate and involve families and caregivers in the therapy process. Provide guidance and strategies to support clients munication development at home.

  • Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure: Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois. Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical, school, or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.

  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, excellent interpersonal and munication abilities, and proficiency in using therapy tools and technology.

  • Attributes: passionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
