Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products according to drawings and specifications. The role involves a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical inspections on parts and assemblies. You will follow general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical tests, and functional inspections on various components and assemblies. Your ability to interpret drawings and schematic diagrams is crucial, as is your responsibility to document data consistent with company policies and procedures. Communicating significant issues or developments during quality assurance activities is also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products to drawings and specifications.
  • Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical inspections on parts and assemblies.
  • Follow general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical tests, and functional inspections.
  • Interpret drawings and schematic diagrams to perform inspections.
  • Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in inspection, quality control, and quality inspection.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
