RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align organizational strategy with financial sustainability, readiness to scale, and mission impact.
  • Develop and manage a multi-year financial health model to support long-term planning and achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Oversee and enhance financial reporting processes, including monthly and quarterly financial statements, dashboards, and analysis for leadership and Board review.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational needs.
  • Manage cash flow, investment accounts, and liquidity strategies to maintain operational and capital efficiency.
  • Supervise the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy standards, and manage relationships with external auditors.
  • Partner with leadership to refine risk management strategies, including credit and operational risks, and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Oversee procurement practices, emphasizing efficiency and supplier diversity.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new market expansion and financial product development, ensuring sound financial planning and execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, financial management, or investment banking, with at least 7 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Expertise in nonprofit financial management, including compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Proficiency with financial technologies, such as accounting software and business intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and assess financial models, analyze financial statements, and develop budgets and forecasts for senior leadership and Board review.
  • Experience in cash flow management, asset-liability management, and budgeting processes.
  • Proven track record in raising capital from institutional investors, foundations, or financial institutions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience managing teams, fostering professional development, and cultivating a collaborative work environment.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting with multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to community development and creating meaningful social and environmental impact.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
This wonderful opportunity offers the ability to make a significant impact by leading financial strategies and operations for an established nonprofit organization committed to advancing economic inclusion and driving meaningful change. In addition to a competitive base salary of $170,000 - $200,000 (DOE), this incredible role provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes 403B; paid medical, dental, and vision; 15 paid holidays; 25 PTO/sick days; FSA, annual performance bonus, and many other perks This role offers the chance to contribute to a mission that will inspire you daily as you drive meaningful impact in underserved communities.
