Soliant Education is a leading provider of education staffing solutions, dedicated to supporting schools and enhancing student success. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Onsite School Social Worker to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students in grades K-8.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success and address issues affecting academic performance.
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current Michigan State Social Worker Licensure.
  • Proven experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or clinical setting.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention.
