We are currently seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney who specializes in Removal Defense to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in handling Asylum cases, Cancellation of Removal cases, VAWAs, Waivers, BIA Appeals, Petition of Reviews, and Mandamus. This role requires dedication, expertise, strong writing skills, and a commitment to provide high-quality legal representation to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation to clients facing removal proceedings.

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case-specific strategies.

  • Prepare and file relevant legal documents, petitions, and appeals with immigration courts and other relevant agencies.

  • Represent clients in immigration court hearings, interviews, and other proceedings.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the status of their cases and providing guidance throughout the legal process.

  • Maintain responsibility and the ability to manage paralegal to ensure that deadlines are met, efficiency in case management, and client satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policies to advocate for clients' rights and interests effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing immigration law, with a specialization in removal defense.

  • Demonstrate expertise in handling asylum cases, cancellation of removal, VAWA, waivers, BIA appeals, review petitions, and mandamus.

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.
