ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to join our team in Oak Forest, IL for the 24-25 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, youll work closely with a dynamic team of educators, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. What Youll Do:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' IEPs.
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Provide a supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages student growth and confidence.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Advocate for students and ensure they receive the resources and support they need to succeed.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Valid Illinois teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for working with students with special needs.
